plastic materials to
be recycled, coming
from different
collection
(partially from
waste) is becoming
higher and higher,
the recyclers are
force to be provided
with machines more
and more efficient,
powerful and
suitable to treat
materials blends
with different
thickness and most
of all dirtier and
dirtier with strong
contaminations.
Horizontal dryer or
centrifuge is a
customized machine
depending on the
working it is
supposed to do and
on the material it
has to treat. In
fact, even though
its external
supporting frame
remains the same,
the washing elements
and their shapes are
chosen according to
the product to be
treated and on the
contamination degree
to be taken off.
This machine can be
supplied with four
different rotors
types and a
unlimited number of
holes or half-holed
screen related to
the product.
Centrifuge is
designed according
to the principles of
a horizontal
centrifuge and
includes the
combination washing
and a subsequent
drying of shredded
plastic material.
The residual
humidity of the
material before
further processing
in the Densifier or
the extruder is an
essential element of
the energy
consumption of the
regeneration plant.
The
Centrifuge has
proved to be the
machine best suited
to dry the material,
which exits the tank
with a humidity of
up to 50%, to a
residual humidity of
4 -5 % for LDPE or
PP Film (even with a
content of about 20
% stretch) and ca 1
-2 % for rigid
material such as
HDPE or PP. The
mechanical drying is
superior to the
thermal drying
concerning energy
consumption.

steel beams
